Environmental Protection

  • All materials used are REACH-compliant.
  • All core skirting boards are made from chlorine-free plastic, are certified low-emission according to ISO 16000, and the HDF cores are FSC certified.
  • Use of PVC without harmful heavy metals.
  • The wood profiles are subject to careful inspection and are PEFC certified and FSC® zertifiziert (FSC-C105106).
  • All recommended fasteners have been tested for environmental friendliness.

Blue Angel

Our core skirting boards and soft skirting boards have been awarded the Blue Angel, the German government's best-known environmental label.

EPD

The EPD S-P-11728 Environmental Product Declaration uses neutral and objective data to illustrate the environmentally relevant properties of our WLK Form. This data covers all the effects that the product may have on the environment. The entire life cycle of the product is taken into account.

PEFC

PEFC is a transparent and independent system for ensuring sustainable forest management. Wood and paper products bearing the PEFC label originate from ecologically, economically, and socially sustainable forest management.

Emission

The levels of emission from all our solidcore skirtings are extremely low. No hazardous organic compounds are released into the air in rooms.

Greenguard Gold

Almost all Döllken products are Greenguard Gold certified. This means they meet the strictest requirements for reducing emissions of pollutants into indoor air and are also suitable for use in sensitive environments such as schools or healthcare facilities.

Phthalat-free

Many of our plastic skirting boards (including stair nosings and WL life) are produced exclusively with phthalate-free plasticizers.

FSC

FSC® certification is an international system for ensuring sustainable forest management. Our wood profiles are subject to careful inspection and are certified.

Funding from the European Fund

The sustainable use of resources is very important to us. That is why an efficiency improvement project is being implemented at the Grammetal site. The aim is to save energy and thus significantly reduce CO2 emissions through the use of modern LED lighting technology, compressed air optimization, and machine waste heat recovery. In the future, this will save around 96 tons of CO2 per year.
