When you contact Döllken by email or via the contact form on our website, your email address, title, name, subject and content of your message and any other information you provide voluntarily will be stored by us in order to process your request. The data transmitted by you will not be merged with other data.

5. sample order

If you order product samples via our website, we store your e-mail and postal address, title, first name, surname, company, customer number, telephone number, order number and details of the products ordered, as well as any other information you provide voluntarily for statistical analysis.

With the sample order, you also declare your consent to telephone enquiries regarding the products ordered and to being contacted for advertising purposes. We also use the data specified in the above paragraph in this context.

7 Newsletter

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletters. This means that after you have entered your e-mail address, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. Confirmation is provided by clicking on an activation link contained in the confirmation e-mail. Once we have received your confirmation, we will send you our newsletter by e-mail. We will store your e-mail address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The sole purpose of storing the data is to be able to send you the newsletter.

The mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address, title, first name and surname, company and language. The data you provide will not be passed on to third parties.

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons (also known as tracking pixels). These are one-pixel image files that, with the involvement of third-party providers, enable us to evaluate your user behavior and determine which of the e-mail messages we send were opened and when, which links were clicked on and what reaction this entailed. For this purpose, the respective web beacons are assigned to your e-mail address and linked to a unique ID. Links received in the newsletter also contain this individual ID. We use the data obtained in this way to create a user profile and draw conclusions about your personal interests in order to provide you with a newsletter tailored to your interests. We may link the data collected with other data you have provided.

You can informally object to tracking at any time by sending an e-mail to info(a)doellken-profiles.com. As a rule, you can also prevent such tracking by deactivating the display of images by default in the e-mail program used on your computer. In this case, however, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the functions. As soon as you manually display the images contained in the newsletter, the above-mentioned tracking takes place again.

8 Google Analytics

It is important to us to design our website as optimally as possible and thus make it attractive for our visitors. To do this, it is necessary to know which parts of it are received by our visitors and how. For this purpose, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” to ensure an anonymized collection of your IP address (so-called IP masking) and thus to exclude a direct personal reference. For this purpose, your IP address is truncated by Google within the European Union or the European Economic Area before it is analyzed. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there.
